Grand Savings Bank opens 1st branch in Springdale
Oklahoma-based Grand Savings Bank has opened a new location in Springdale.
According to Washington County property records, GSB paid $350,000 for the 2,584-square-foot building at 2422 E. Robinson Ave. It is GSB’s first location in Springdale.
“As a community bank, we’re always looking for ways to invest in our communities,” CEO Guy Cable said in a statement. “We are excited to provide more great service to our Springdale customers at this new branch of GSB.”
Louisiana-based IberiaBank Corp. was the Springdale building’s previous tenant. Memphis, Tenn.-based bank holding company First Horizon Corp., the parent company of First Horizon Bank, acquired Iberia in 2020.
GSB maintains headquarters in Grove, Okla., but operates 10 of its 13 branches in Northwest Arkansas and the Fort Smith metro. Most members of the company’s leadership team are based in Benton County.
Grand Savings Bank had $786.15 million in assets as of March 31, according to the FDIC. That’s a 13.4% year-over-year increase.
