Veteran banker Bill Yee joins Citizens Bank as SVP, Little Rock President
Veteran banker Bill Yee is joining Citizens Bank as senior vice president and city president for the Little Rock market, the bank announced Wednesday (Feb. 23).
“Bill is a perfect fit for our bank, both in terms of culture and talent,” said Vernon Scott, EVP and regional president at Citizens Bank. “He is highly respected in the Little Rock community and the banking industry as a whole. Our customers and employees alike will enjoy working with him and will benefit from his expertise.”
Yee began his career as a commissioned senior bank examiner. He then entered commercial banking at Regions Bank and did long stints with Delta Trust & Bank and Simmons Bank.
“It is an honor to be joining a team of this caliber,” said Yee. “I have worked with many of the team members in the past, and all have excellent reputations for the job they have done at Citizens Bank. It is a true pleasure to have the opportunity to lead this team in continued success.”
Yee earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and was a graduate of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
Batesville-based Citizens Bank was founded in 1953 and has assets exceeding $1.1 billion.
