Arkansas-based Splash Car Wash nears opening of 12th location

Splash Car Wash, an Arkansas-based business, is planning to open its 12th location later this month. Commercial real estate firm Colliers Arkansas, a development partner, made the announcement Thursday (Jan. 13).

Splash is remodeling a 35,233-square-foot building at 15701 Chenal Parkway in Little Rock. It previously housed Altitude Trampoline Park. Baldwin & Shell Construction Co. is leading the redevelopment.

According to Pulaski County property records, a limited liability company Splash manages bought the 2.2-acre property in December 2020 for $4.5 million.

The Colliers announcement said the Chenal site will be the 10th-largest car wash facility in the country. Features will include:

  • Two car wash tunnels
  • Two express interior cleaning belts
  • Indoor member vacuums
  • 10-minute on-site oil change
  • Ultra high-speed charging station for electric vehicles
  • State-of-the-art water recycling system and energy-saving motors
  • Touchless washing with license plate recognition technology
  • Luxurious, kid-friendly lobby

“Because of the years of experience we have cleaning cars, coupled with the opportunities we’ve had to travel the U.S. and western Europe studying best practices, we are able to bring a unique and memorable experience to our customers,” Paul Stagg, Splash founder and CEO, said in a statement. “But all of that would be wasted if it were not for our genuine and caring team that loves to serve others.”

Bradford Gaines of Colliers Arkansas is leading the Splash development. Colliers is also providing property management.

“Our firm has been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to manage the development process for Splash in Arkansas,” Gaines said. “This Chenal location enjoys some of the best traffic counts in the city and should provide a great return on investment for the company. Their car wash facilities are truly state-of-the-art and we’re proud that they chose Little Rock for their largest to-date.”

The Chenal location will kick off a busy 2022 for Splash. The company plans to open eight additional Arkansas locations this year in Little Rock, Maumelle, Cabot, Conway, Bentonville, Greenbrier, Russellville and Sherwood.

Colliers Arkansas is also providing brokerage, development and facility management services for each location.
