Arkansas-based restaurant chain Eat My Catfish is planning to open a Rogers location.

In a news release Thursday (Dec. 2), the company said the restaurant should be open by mid-December. The address is 2011 S. Promenade Blvd, Suite 440, near Pinnacle Hills Promenade.

A pop-up event with the restaurant’s original food truck is planned from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 8 in the restaurant parking lot ahead of the official store opening.

Owner and president Travis Hester of Little Rock established the brand from a food truck in 2008. The company has locations in Benton, Conway, Fayetteville, Little Rock, North Little Rock and Siloam Springs.

“We’re thrilled to continue our expansion in Northwest Arkansas and look forward to serving customers in the growing community of Rogers,” Hester said in a statement. “Rogers has long been a pinnacle of Northwest Arkansas, and our team is excited to offer customers a great experience and exceptional food, while being a good community partner.”

The Rogers store will create at least 40 jobs, according to the news release.
