Urgent care center opens in Bella Vista
A new Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care center recently opened in Bella Vista.
The center at 3493 Bella Vista Way, Suite 103, is the fourth Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Arkansas. The others are in Bentonville, Fayetteville and Springdale.
“On-demand access to high-quality care is one of the most important ways in which we can support and develop healthier communities,” said Todd Latz, CEO of GoHealth. “We are excited about the continued expansion of our Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care platform and look forward to caring for the Bella Vista community to continue improving the health of the region.”
Adrianne DelaRaba, senior director of marketing for GoHealth, said it does not have “any firm locations for additional centers in Arkansas at this time. We are evaluating needs throughout the northwest region and do expect to continue expansion.”
DelaRaba said the Bella Vista clinic, as with all Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care centers, will have at least one provider on staff. The providers will be rotating, and staff size will range between two and six people, depending on day, time and community need.
“One of the great things about our model is that it allows for team members to be flexible in which centers they work, depending on the needs of the area in order to best serve the communities,” DelaRaba said.
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care provides treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries, on-site X-ray services, and COVID-19 evaluation and testing. Patients can access care by walking in or registering online. Providers also are available via virtual visits.
“We know our patients want convenience when it comes to healthcare, often wanting an appointment at a moment’s notice,” said Dr. Stephen Goss, president of Mercy Clinic Northwest Arkansas. “Adding another Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care will give that easy access to our Bella Vista and north Bentonville community, giving them the peace of mind of quality care close to home.”
The Bella Vista clinic is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
In 2018, Mercy announced a partnership with GoHealth to open 30 urgent care centers across the Midwest.
