A Fayetteville-based prosthodontics practice recently hired a new physician for its Little Rock office.

Dr. Ericka Miller is the newest prosthodontist at Ozark Prosthodontics, which now has eight prosthodontists in offices in Fayetteville and Little Rock. The practice specializes in digital dentistry, surgical prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics.

A prosthodontist is a dental specialist who has undergone three years of special training, in addition to a degree in general dentistry.

Miller earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, where she played for the women’s soccer team. She continued her education at the UF College of Dentistry, earning a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.), before heading to the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas while still completing an externship at the University of Florida Center of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Dean McNeel owns Ozark Prosthodontics, which opened in 1996. The business opened a Little Rock office in 2000 through the acquisition of Hart & Coco Prosthodontics.

Between the two offices, there are 65 employees, including a team of patient advocates to help navigate the medical billing process.
