Connections: Crossland Heavy Contractors hires director of engineering

Crossland Heavy Contractors recently hired Bill Hagenburger as director of engineering. Hagenburger was previously chief operating officer for Lowell-based utility Beaver Water District.

“I have been lucky to work with a lot of people from Crossland in my previous job,” Hagenburger said. “I look forward to working with this great group of people here and building great things.”

Hagenburger has 30 years of industry experience and has worked closely with Crossland Heavy the past 15 years. In 2006, the company landed its most significant deal to date, a $26 million water treatment plant expansion for Beaver Water District.

Crossland Heavy Contractors, an affiliate of Crossland Construction Co., is a heavy civil and environmental construction firm currently ranked in the nation’s top 100 largest environmental firms by Engineering News-Record (ENR).
