Two former Arkansas media personalities — and Arkansas natives — who left the Natural State last year have returned.

Ashley Ketz and her husband, Aaron Nolan, are now living in Bentonville. They most recently lived in Chicago and worked for NewsNation, Texas-based Nexstar Media’s national cable news network. Ketz was a national correspondent and fill-in anchor, and Nolan was a weekend breaking news anchor.

Ketz recently started a new job in corporate affairs at Walmart Inc. Nolan said he is still working for NewsNation.

“I will be a national correspondent based in Northwest Arkansas and cover stories around the South,” Nolan wrote in an email.

Ketz and Nolan worked for Little Rock NBC affiliate KARK-TV before leaving last year for NewsNation. Nolan co-anchored the morning news and, before that, spent several years as a sports anchor and reporter for the “Razorback Nation.” Nolan also worked earlier in his career as a general assignment reporter at KNWA-TV in Fayetteville.

Ketz was an Emmy Award-winning evening news anchor at KARK. Her career also included a stop as an evening news anchor at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville.

Ketz, who is from Batesville, and Nolan, a Maumelle native, married in 2010.
