Sells Agency adds three, promotes one
The Sells Agency announced three new employees and one promotion.
L. Lamor Williams stepped into the role of public relations director in mid-June. Formerly communications and marketing manager for the City of Little Rock, Williams holds the Accredited in Public Relations distinction from the Public Relations Society of America and has accumulated nearly a decade of PR experience after a journalism career of almost 20 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Philander Smith College.
Susie Nicholson has been named director of strategic services. Working in the agency’s Fayetteville office since June, Nicholson is a former vice president of marketing for First National Bank Russellville before she joined the Arkansas Tech University staff where she worked as vice president for Student Services and University Relations and NCAA compliance officer and deputy Title IX Coordinator. Nicholson holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from University of Arkansas and a master’s degree in college student personnel from Arkansas Tech University.
Caity Hatchett joined the agency in mid-July as PR/social media coordinator, a newly created position. A 2021 Ouachita Baptist College graduate, Hatchett holds a bachelor’s degree in history and communications and media/sports media. During her time at OBU, Hatchett became an accomplished writer, editor and social media manager.
Christa Lavender was promoted from social media manager to social media director. Lavender joined Sells Agency in 2017 after managing social media for P. Allen Smith in Little Rock. As social media director, she will plan and direct social media marketing strategies and projects for the agency and its clients. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Arkansas.
In addition to these staff moves, Sells Agency has launched a new integrated media practice, Full Spectrum, that brings together the agency’s public relations, social media, digital, advertising and media planning/buying leaders with the goal of unifying all aspects of client marketing across channels and disciplines.
“Our playbook has always included an integrated media approach, but every good idea can be improved upon,” said CEO Mike Sells. “We wanted a team that would be as effective and efficient as possible in delivering integrated marketing solutions in a world of converging channels. We want to make sure we cover the ‘Full Spectrum’ of marketing. Our department heads will meet and coordinate efforts in order to continuously assess opportunities across disciplines to ensure the coordination of earned, owned, social, and paid media tactics for our clients.”
Sells Agency is a full-service advertising, marketing, digital, and public relations firm with offices in Little Rock and Fayetteville.
