Allegiance Title Co. comes to Arkansas
Patrick Curry, former CEO of Springdale-based Waco Title, recently established title agency Allegiance Title Co. of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Curry is owner and president of the company doing business as Allegiance Title Co. It’s part of a larger organization of 550 employees with operations in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
“The Allegiance Title Co. brand has an excellent reputation across Texas, and I am really excited to bring the brand here to Arkansas,” Curry said. “Our first location will be based in Fayetteville.”
Tulsa-based holding company AllFirst Title Co. is the co-owner, and the office will be at 1450 E. Zion Road, Suite 7.
“I started the organization in order to make the title and closing process more efficient and understandable to the end consumer,” Curry said. “The title industry is ripe for change, and I have a vision of how to apply data, technology and people to create a better and more innovative closing experience. Allegiance provides a platform where we can solely focus on title and closing to achieve our vision of the future.”
Asked about its uniqueness, Curry explained Allegiance has the resources of a large title organization and benefits from local ownership that understands the Northwest Arkansas market.
“Allegiance also has the vision and mindset to make investments toward industry-changing processes,” he added. “These investments over the next few months will provide the groundwork for many more innovations to come.”
Curry’s short-term business goals include investing in software to develop its data automation plans. He noted the significance of data in the title industry and that it can address the company’s efficiency goals.
“Over the long term, success looks like developing a team of high functioning leaders that carry out the mission of lowering closing costs and improving the communication experience,” he said. “I believe we have an opportunity to deliver innovative solutions that will positively impact our communities and the title industry.”
Curry said he’s Arkansas employee No. 1 and will begin building a local team in October. He plans to officially open and to start taking new orders on Dec. 1.
Before leaving in August to establish the new business, Curry had worked for Waco Title, a company of Bentonville-based Arvest Bank Group, for more than 15 years. Sara Heck was recently appointed CEO of Waco Title after more than eight years of working for Fayetteville-chartered Arvest Bank.
