We are pleased to introduce to you the 2021 class of Northeast Arkansas Women in Business award winners.

This is our third year producing this award for the region, and we are excited with the distinguished group of nominees we received. These women are building Northeast Arkansas into a regional destination — a great place to live, work, play and connect. As always, there were some great candidates from which we had to narrow down our choices this year.

This year’s honorees include:

Rhonda Ahrent
Sara Fenter
LaTeasha Gaither-Davis
Cherisse Jones-Branch
Christie Jordan
Theresa Nedelman
Laura Pickens
Ethel Tompkins
Heather Walker-Clark
Lindsey Wingo

We hope you enjoy learning more about the women in this year’s selections. We solicited questions to help you better understand what makes them tick and how they’ve achieved as much as they have. All of them make a noticeable impact on people who do business with them and work alongside them.

Through a Q&A format, the 10 women featured in this issue discuss key aspects that have shaped their leadership skills, encourage them to drive for excellence, and anchor their commitment to serving Northeast Arkansas. From their professional endeavors to the energy they pour into their communities, they have made and are continuing to make a difference.

Our honorees will get special recognition from Northeast Arkansas Talk Business & Politics through a special event next month. We are not sure today if it will be an in-person or virtual event due to COVID-19, but we will keep everyone posted. We are planning for an in-person event right now in hopes that the pandemic circumstances will improve.

Lastly, I want to thank Ritter Communications for their continuing support of this award. They have been a sponsor of the program since we launched and we are truly grateful for their endorsement of this recognition for the region.

Congratulations to the NEA Women in Business honorees of 2021. We hope you enjoy reading their profiles. We are proud of these women and all they do for Northeast Arkansas.
