Each year, the number of women involved in the business and civic sectors continue to grow, and Talk Business & Politics is set to honor the best of them in Northeast Arkansas. TB&P is now accepting nominations for our third edition of Women in Business in Northeast Arkansas.

The deadline for nominations is Aug. 6 and can be submitted online here. Northeast Arkansas is loosely defined as including the following counties: Craighead, Greene, Mississippi, Crittenden, Cross, Jackson, Independence, Lawrence, Sharp, Randolph and Clay.

Talk Business & Politics Editor-in-Chief Roby Brock said the organization is ready to honor a new group of women who standout for their contributions in business and leadership in Northeast Arkansas.

“It’s one of the best things we do as an organization,” Brock said. “Women take entrepreneurial risks, lead in large and small organizations, and have helped push the region forward in immeasurable ways. This is our small way of honoring some of those leaders who richly deserve credit for the difference they’re making to lift the overall economy of Northeast Arkansas.”

TB&P is looking for women who have demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to pursuing their careers and community service and are likely to continue to do so. Candidates include, but are not limited to, executives, entrepreneurs, politicians, government leaders, nonprofit managers and other professionals.

Submissions can be made at this link. Once the nomination deadline passes, a panel of editors and previous winners will select the Top 10 entrees.

Past nominees who were not previously selected are encouraged to have submissions made on their behalf once again. Those selected will be honored at a celebration later in the year.
