Waco Title Co. relocates commercial division hub
Springdale-based Waco Title Co. has moved its commercial division hub to a new address in Washington County.
COO Brian Blackman said the commercial team relocated in late January from Waco’s Joyce Boulevard office in Fayetteville to the four-story Clear Creek Building off Interstate 49 in Johnson.
“We were running out of space,” said Blackman, who oversees Waco Title’s commercial operations. “We’ve experienced a lot of growth the past few years, and the Joyce location has both residential and commercial operations in that building. We were cramming people into every spot that we could, honestly. This will allow for further growth.”
Waco Title’s commercial division has 13 employees, six of whom work in Johnson. The commercial division can close business in 11 states and has five attorneys.
In 2020, Waco Title’s commercial division closed $1.07 billion in loans, and increased revenue by 20% year-over-year.
Waco Title employs approximately 250 people in 23 offices throughout Arkansas and southwest Missouri. The company traces its roots to 1885 as Washington County Abstract & Guaranty Co. and is owned by Arvest Bank Group Inc. of Bentonville.
