Lt. Gov. Griffin names Wendy Johnson to state Ethics Commission
Lt. Governor Tim Griffin appointed Wendy L. Johnson to the Arkansas Ethics Commission on Tuesday (Dec. 22).
Johnson will replace Ashley Younger on the commission and will serve a five-year term which will begin January 1, 2021.
Johnson is a partner at the Springdale office of RMP LLP. She co-leads the Investigations and Corporate Compliance practice area, where she advises clients in all significant areas of governmental investigations, compliance, white collar crime, large-scale corporate internal investigations, and complex tax investigations.
Prior to joining RMP LLP, she spent more than 12 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, where she served as First Assistant U.S. Attorney. Prior to her federal service, Johnson was a state Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for over seven years in Sebastian and Logan counties.
Johnson is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and of the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.
