Kutak Rock planning relocation in Rogers
The largest law firm in Northwest Arkansas will soon relocate its Rogers office to a larger footprint and a newer building.
Kutak Rock, a national law firm headquartered in Omaha, Neb., has signed a lease agreement to occupy 11,400-square-feet in the $30 million Northgate Plaza office building in Pinnacle Hills. Construction of the 117,000-square-foot, six-story building was completed earlier this year at 5111 W. J.B. Hunt Drive.
Terry Pool, managing partner for Kutak Rock’s three Arkansas locations in Little Rock, Fayetteville and Rogers, said the firm will take possession of the space in mid-November.
“The Northgate space is a relocation and expansion of our current Rogers office,” Pool explained. Kutak Rock has a roster of 32 attorneys in the Northwest Arkansas market, making it the largest law firm in the region by number of lawyers.
Pool said some attorneys from the Fayetteville office will relocate to the Rogers office, which will house 15 attorneys and five staff members. That will leave 17 attorneys and 10 staff members in the Fayetteville office. The company is represented by 25 attorneys at its downtown Little Rock location on West Capitol Avenue.
Kutak Rock opened its Fayetteville office in 2001 with two attorneys. In February 2016, the firm opened a Rogers office in approximately 2,600 square feet on the first floor of the World Trade Center Arkansas building at 3300 Market St.
Northgate Holdings, a partnership between the Blass family of Little Rock and Johnelle Hunt, chairman of Hunt Ventures in Rogers, owns Northgate Plaza. It is approximately 82% leased. Kellogg’s anchors the building with occupancy of the sixth floor.
