Car washes, crop acreage lead top Craighead County real estate deals
IMO U.S. South Inc. made the most significant residential and commercial property transfer in Craighead County July 15 through Aug. 15, according to the Craighead County Assessor’s Office. The company spent $2.183 million to buy a car wash on Southwest Drive. The deal was completed July 20.
Jonesboro City Water and Light made the second most significant real estate purchase in the region during the period. It bought 170 crop acres for $1.535 million. The deal was completed July 23.
In the third largest real estate deal in the region, IMO U.S. South Inc. bought a carwash on Nettleton. The deal was for $1.496 and it was completed July 20.
