Shake Brands Corp., a manufacturer and distributor of organic Cannabidiol (CBD) products based in Northwest Arkansas, will be partnering with NCPA (National Community Pharmacists Association) CBD Source, an online resource for community pharmacies looking for information on CBD products.

“We are excited to partner with NCPA CBD Source,” said Antigone “Tig” Davoulas, Shake Brands chief legal officer and co-founder. “NCPACBDSource.com has a rich user interface and is a powerful resource for pharmacists to gain knowledge about these products and how to market them.”

NCPA says the goal of the online resource is to help community pharmacies make educated decisions about the growing CBD marketplace. It launched in 2019 and reaches a network of more than 22,000 members.

NCPA says the CBD market is expected to hit $22 billion by 2024.

“Consumers are constantly looking to improve their wellness routines through local, trusted retailers, and the rapid pace of change in the industry can make that challenging on the supply side,” said Brittany Phillips, a Shake Brands co-founder. “With this new partnership, independent pharmacy locations can better address specific retail needs and leverage the scientific expertise of NCPACBDSource.com.”

Shake Brands’ chemical-free lab and 100% organic “CBD & Me” product line is certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and produced at a facility in Johnson with eco-friendly packaging, according to the company. Shake Brands is a woman-owned business founded by Davoulas, Phillips, Julie Brents and Syrona Scott.
