Introducing the 2020 class of Women in Business honorees
On behalf of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal staff, I am pleased to introduce our sixth annual class of Women in Business honorees.
If you want to feel inspired, I think you will enjoy finding out a little more about this year’s honorees and their success. What a tremendous group of leaders they are.
Through a Q&A format, the 10 women featured in this issue discuss some of the key aspects behind their leadership, drive and commitment to serving the Northwest Arkansas region. From their professional accomplishments to the energy they pour into their communities, their contributions are many.
It is especially gratifying to see so many nominations for this recognition program each year. We received nearly 40 of them, from business partners, friends, board members, co-workers and bosses. We had a lot of tough decisions to end up with the 10 winners, but ultimately, having so many nominations only means good things for the region.
If you nominated someone who was not chosen, I would encourage you to nominate them — and others — again next year.
Unfortunately, we were not able to host our annual networking reception for this year’s honorees because of COVID-19. But we hope to give this year’s class a special “virtual” recognition very soon.
Congratulations to the Women in Business honorees of 2020. I hope you enjoy reading these profiles. It’s a section we enjoyed producing.
