St. Bernards has launched a virtual care program called “St. Bernards Go.” Anyone in the state can download the St. Bernards Go app or go to stbernardsgo.com to connect with a provider in Jonesboro in minutes.

This service allows the patient to see a provider from the convenience of the patient’s home, office or anywhere in Arkansas.

St. Bernards Go can be used to treat a variety of conditions including allergies, common cold, cough, pink eye, fever, flu-like symptoms, nausea, vomiting, insect bites, sore throat, urinary tract infection, to name a few. After the online visit, the provider can diagnose, suggest follow up and prescribe medication, as appropriate.

Providers available through St. Bernards Go are medical doctors and advance practice registered nurses and are trained in urgent care. All providers are based in Jonesboro.

“Launching St. Bernards Go is another step in our ongoing commitment to make healthcare in northeast Arkansas as accessible and convenient as possible,” said Chris Barber, president and CEO of St. Bernards Healthcare. “With healthcare costs rising across the nation, we believe this is a program with the potential to assist patients and lower costs by providing access to early intervention and prevention.”

A provider at St. Bernards will have safe and secure access to patient information, and the interaction automatically creates a record that can be shared with a primary care provider or other specialist, the health care system said.
