Alternative Design adds to management team
Four new hires have been added to the management team of Siloam Springs-based metal fabricator Alternative Design Manufacturing & Supply Inc.
James Austin has been hired as the project manager for construction services. Austin has 13 years of experience in the construction industry.
Ryan Kinnaman, who worked for the company previously, has returned as marketing technologist.
Patti Eiland has moved into the role of public relations manager. Trent Fulgham has been promoted to production manager.
Grant Loyd is the second-generation owner of the company, which has close to 70 employees.
Loyd’s father, Eddie Loyd, and his brother Bob, founded the business in 1987 to assist them in their poultry farming operation. They needed caging that would last longer than what they had, so they designed it and built it.
Since taking ownership in 2014, Grant Loyd, who is the company president, has diversified the business. In recent years, the company has provided custom metal fabrication services for a number of local clients including Simmons Foods, Crossland Construction, Dean’s Casing Service and the Siloam Springs School District. The company produces a variety of metal fabricated products including benches, bike racks, carts, shelving, fencing, flag holders for street light poles, gates, railing and signs.
