Olsson establishes civil engineering division in Fayetteville
Nebraska-based engineering and design firm Olsson has established a general civil engineering team at its Fayetteville office. The addition will expand services the firm provides in Fayetteville and throughout the state. Olsson’s Fayetteville office also provides water/wastewater, transportation, power, field operations, land development and surveying services.
“Site-civil work is an important part of our business across our geographical footprint,” said Len Swartz, general civil practice leader at Olsson. “We’re excited to start offering this service in Arkansas so we can better serve our clients in this area.”
Jared Rasmussen, who leads Olsson’s general civil team at its Springfield, Mo., office, will also oversee the 14 employees on the general civil team in Fayetteville. Olsson’s Fayetteville office has 32 employees.
Olsson has offices in eight states. It entered the Arkansas market in 2017 when it acquired McGoodwin William & Yates Inc. of Fayetteville.
