Connections: Highlands Oncology adds 2 physicians
Highlands Oncology Group has hired two new physicians.
K’Anne Cash Arthur attended medical school at Louisiana State University-Shreveport and completed her residency in internal medicine at LSU Health Science Center. She recently concluded a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Mississippi.
Blake Lockwood completed medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, followed by an internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship, both at UAMS.
“The Northwest Arkansas market is growing rapidly, and this addition will enable Highlands to continue providing the same world-class care our community has come to expect over the years,” CEO Jeff Hunnicutt said.
Highlands now has 18 physicians working at its clinics in Fayetteville and Rogers. Highlands is also building a new location near the Interstate 49-Don Tyson Parkway intersection in Springdale.
