Bryan McDuffie leaves Tyson Foods to lead transportation division at George’s

George’s Inc. announced Monday (Aug. 14) the hiring of Bryan McDuffie as vice president of transportation. McDuffie spent the past 24 years at Tyson Foods, where he served as vice president of transportation for the Poultry and Prepared and Fresh Meats Division.

At George’s McDuffie will oversee all areas of transportation and warehousing, according to a company news release. He has experience in scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, warehouse management and freight optimization.

“We are so happy to have Bryan join our team and lead our transportation division,” Carl George, co-CEO and president of George’s, said in a statement. “He has an outstanding reputation in our field, and his presence will be an asset to our company and strengthen what is already a solid team.”

McDuffie’s career in food transportation began in the late 1970s and included stints at Jeno’s Pizza and Oscar Mayer/Kraft.
