Arkansas-based restaurant chain Tacos 4 Life is coming to Benton County.

Owners of the fast-casual chain closed a real estate deal Friday (May 19) to purchase a 0.98-acre site at 4195 S. Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers for $853,776. The address is just north of the roundabout on Pauline Whitaker Parkway. A development filed with the city planning department shows the restaurant will be housed in a 4,000-square-foot building.

Fayetteville-chartered Arvest Bank, according to real estate records, will finance construction with a five-year loan of $1.75 million.

Jonesboro-based Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate and Development brokered the deal, working with Tom Allen of Sage Partners in Rogers, who represented Pinnacle Corner LLC, the seller.

The restaurant is expected to open early next year.

“We knew exactly where Tacos 4 Life needed to be but we initially thought it to be an impossible task,” said Haag Brown principal Greg Haag. “Without Tom’s help we would not have been able to deliver Tacos 4 Life this amazing location, which we feel like will do very well.”

Haag Brown principal Joshua Brown offered the credit for the success of this project to the property’s seller, Mrs. Johnelle Hunt.

“The lot we landed on was in the middle of an area where owners are not selling,” he explained. “This deal was only possible through the willingness of Mrs. Hunt and her desire to see the continued growth of the Pinnacle Hills area. She certainly did not have to sell us the lot. I think it says a lot about her confidence in Tacos 4 Life and their mission.”

Tacos 4 Life was launched in June 2014 in Conway by Austin Samuelson and his wife, Ashton. There are now five restaurants in Arkansas — two in Conway and others in Fayetteville, Little Rock and Benton. A Springdale location is scheduled to open later this year.

Tacos 4 Life donates 22 cents from every taco, quesadilla, salad or rice bowl sold to Feed My Starving Children, a Christian faith-based nonprofit that provides food for underprivileged children from throughout the world.

“Our main focus as a restaurant is to feed hungry children by providing customers with made-from-scratch, amazing food,” Ashton Samuelson said. “Opening another location will allow us to build relationships in a new community and raise even more meals for hungry children.”

Tacos 4 Life will be the latest restaurant to establish an address at the rapidly developing southern end of the Pinnacle Hills area. Mirabella’s Table, a new project of Bentonville restaurateur Carl Garrett (Tavola Trattoria, Table Mesa Bistro), opened for business Monday (May 22) in The District at Pinnacle Hills, a multi-use development being built at the southwest corner of the intersection of southbound Interstate 49 and Whitaker Parkway.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop also opened recently in the commercial development. Other restaurants in the vicinity are Chuy’s, Pinnacle Bar and Grill, Newk’s, Growler USA and Pei Wei.
