Jim Johnson named senior lending officer at Stone Bank in Harrison

Jim Johnson has been named senior vice president, senior lending officer at Stone Bank in Harrison.

“Jim is a life-long Harrison native and understands the needs of the Boone County businesses and families,” Marnie Oldner, chief executive officer of the bank, said in a news release. “We are excited that he’s coming home to our new Harrison office to continue serving the community with a home-owned bank.”

Johnson had been working in a similar position at the bank’s Mountain View office.

His financial experience includes positions at Security Bank in Harrison, American General Finance, Tankinetics/Strand Industries in Harrison, Bank of America and Arvest Bank. In 2013, he started at Stone Bank in Mountain View.

Johnson, who is 54, graduated from Harrison High School and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a degree in banking and finance. He also attended North Arkansas College on a baseball scholarship. He and his wife, Lisa, have three children.

He serves on various boards, including the Ozark Arts Council, Harrison Public School Foundation and Harrison Area Razorback Club. He’s also the radio voice of the Harrison High School Goblin football team.

Stone Bank is based in Mountain View and has offices in White Hall, Little Rock and a loan production office in Cave City. Plans include opening banking centers in White Hall in early 2017 and in Harrison in late 2017.
