Little Rock marketing and communications firm CJRW on Thursday (Dec. 15) announced the promotion of advertising veteran Jill Joslin to president of the company.

She takes on the title previously held by Darin Gray, the firm’s chairman and CEO since July 2015, and is the first female president in the company’s history dating back to 1961.

“CJRW is an iconic business in Arkansas, and I am humbled and excited to become its next president,” Joslin said in a CJRW news release. “We have an outstanding team here, and we work every day to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients by delivering an excellent product on time and on budget.”

Joslin has worked in the Arkansas advertising industry for almost three decades, according to the release.

“Jill is a well-respected professional in our industry,” Gray said in the release. “She brings an invaluable strategic perspective to our clients and will provide great leadership to our team of professionals as we continue into the future.”

Joslin joined CJRW as director of account services nearly two years ago following the firm’s merger with Heathcott Associates. In that role, she handled client management on all levels through planning and implementing successful marketing plans.

“Since her arrival following the merger with Heathcott Associates, Jill has proven herself in several areas, especially in new business development,” Gray said. “Her expertise in handling complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) was instrumental in the agency’s success in landing the Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace account and many others since then.”
