Mark Raines named VP and director for public relations at CJRW
Mark Raines, longtime veteran TV journalist and communications executive, has been named Vice President and Director of Public Relations at CJRW.
Raines, a Cabot resident, joined CJRW in 2014.
He previously served as news director at KTHV Ch. 11 in Little Rock from 1999–2007. Most recently, he worked as communications director for both Chesapeake Energy and BHP Billiton Petroleum in Arkansas.
“Mark’s experience in leading a successful news operation and in corporate communications provides our agency and, most importantly, our clients with a unique perspective in the area of strategic communications,” said Darin Gray, Chairman and CEO of CJRW. “He has built strong relationships with our clients, and they trust his advice and judgment.”
Little Rock-based CJRW recently moved to downtown Little Rock’s “creative corridor.” It also has operations in northwest Arkansas.
“CJRW is an iconic communications agency with a rich tradition of providing exceptional service and products to clients,” said Raines. “I am honored to be working with an outstanding team of professionals and am humbled to lead the premier public relations team in Arkansas.”
