Moore joins FleetNet as vice president of roadside operations

Tim Moore has been named vice president of roadside operations for FleetNet America, a subsidiary of Fort Smith-based ArcBest Corp.

FleetNet provides maintenance and repair services for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. The company is one of four “asset light” operations for ArcBest, and posted first quarter operating income of $984,000, down from $1.17 million during the first quarter of 2015.

Moore will be responsible for managing the emergency roadside service center and quality solutions employees that interact with all FleetNet America customers.

Moore has more than 30 years of fleet operations and maintenance management experience. Prior to joining FleetNet, he held various management positions at transportation companies, most recently with Watkins Refrigerated. He also has worked for FedEx Freight, Watkins Motor Lines and Carolina Freight Carriers Corp.
