Gov. Hutchinson website wins Hermes Creative award
The office of Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson was named a gold winner in the 2016 Hermes Creative Awards from the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals (AMCP) for governor.arkansas.gov.
The website, developed in partnership with the Information Network of Arkansas, was selected as a winner for its creative design and innovation in creating an accessible, functional and fun way for Arkansans to keep track of what the governor is doing and where he’s going.
“We are honored to receive this creative award for our digital communications work,” Communications Director J.R. Davis said. “From the beginning, we’ve had a vision of creating a progressive website that enables Arkansans to follow Governor Hutchinson’s progress on initiatives and promises, and highlights the entire state through citizen-sourced photography. I am proud of the work our talented team has done and that we’ll continue to do to serve Arkansans through our award-winning website.”
The 2016 Hermes Awards is an international awards competition that recognizes the outstanding work of creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.
The competition has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world with more than 6,000 entries from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. AMCP judges selected winners whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
