Beebe alumni, Noble Strategies form Aarch Communications
What do a former communications director for a governor, the head of an economic development agency, and a public affairs shop have in common? Strategic communications.
Matt DeCample, Grant Tennille and Ben Noble have formed Little Rock-based Aarch Communications, a new strategic communications firm that aims to assist clients in a broad range of services in the communications arena, including media relations and strategic communications services, but will also work in new media and Web design, crisis response, government policy analysis, polling and soft skills training.
Matt DeCample, President of Aarch Communications; Ben Noble, President of Noble Strategies; and Grant Tennille, President of Bering Strategic Advisors, have created the new partnership.
“Communications strategies must adapt to succeed in today’s hyper-connected environment,” DeCample said. “Internal communications, external communications, public relations, investor relations, community affairs, governmental affairs and marketing are converging like never before. We’ve built a team that can deliver results and stability across the full spectrum of clients’ communications needs.”
“We represent a broad range of organizations in Washington D.C., in state capitols and internationally,” Noble said. “Clients constantly approach us with perceived political problems that are actually communications challenges outside the halls of government. Aarch Communications will provide these clients with the full range of services they need.”
“Ben, Matt and I recognize that new technologies and communications channels are transforming the fundamentals of public affairs,” Tennille said. “Matt and his team at the Governor’s Office implemented a holistic communications strategy that produced unprecedented success. Ben knows how to assess a client’s needs and deliver the services required to win on their issue. I understand how government, economics and communications connect. Aarch Communications blends those core strengths into one toolbox that will produce value and results for our clients.”
DeCample, a former TV reporter who later served 12 years as spokesman and communications director for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe, will provide daily management of the Aarch Communications team in partnership with Noble and Tennille, who will serve as directors. Noble is the president of Noble Strategies, a public-affairs firm with government relations as its core business. Tennille, former executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and deputy chief of staff to Gov. Beebe, heads his own consulting business.
According to a press release from the group, the Aarch team includes:
Cyrene Quiamco, Director of Social Media, a web and graphic designer who is a nationally recognized online expert for her social-media work.
Lauren Waldrip, Director of Client Services, who previously served as the special initiatives coordinator for the University of Arkansas Razorback Foundation.
Jillian Hicks, Director of Public Affairs, an attorney and senior health-policy adviser for the Arkansas Department of Health. She also has extensive experience analyzing proposed state legislation while serving in government for both Governors Hutchinson and Beebe, and she worked in public relations for CJRW.
