Clinton advisor discusses California shootings, Hillary headlines
Karen Finney, senior advisor to Hillary Clinton, was in Arkansas this weekend to keynote the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus Christmas gala. Finney, the former host of MSNBC’s “Disrupt,” appeared on this week’s edition of Talk Business & Politics.
Finney discussed Hillary Clinton’s campaign and message for Arkansas. She also addressed a number of recent headlines centered around the Democratic Presidential frontrunner and former First Lady of Arkansas.
“Hillary Clinton is one of the most unknown known people in our country. There’s so much that people think they know about her that they don’t know about her,” said Finney, who noted that Arkansans are familiar with Mrs. Clinton due to her ties to the state.
She also said that conventional wisdom might suggest the Clinton campaign would hope for a Trump GOP candidacy over a more traditional or mainstream candidate; however, the eventual Republican Presidential nominee will be a challenge no matter who it is.
“Quite honestly, whoever gets through the primary will be the hardest person to beat because they will have beaten that whole field of contenders,” Finney said.
In light of last week’s shocking California mass shootings, Finney also explained how Clinton has addressed recent events involving gun violence.
