Startup Roundup: The week includes Demo Days and Catalyst, Tech Summit and Comics
This week is packed with various tech and startup events across the state. Tuesday (Nov. 10) is a double hitter with the Catalyst Speed Mixer hosted by the Venture Center in Little Rock and the Northwest Arkansas Tech Summit in Rogers.
The Venture Center will host its monthly Catalyst Speed Mixer at Lost 40 restaurant and brewery on Tuesday (Nov. 10). The program has become a speed dating for employees and employers in the past few months. Catalyst begins at 6 p.m. Attendees can register here the Venture Center website.
The Northwest Arkansas Tech Summit is also on Tuesday from 7:30 am until 4:30 p.m. Various influencers are speaking at the event including Talk Business & Politic’s own Roby Brock. A full list of the speakers can be viewed at the NWA Tech Council website.
The Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub is hosting its monthly Hub Ub on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 7 p.m. with guest speaker Walter Burgess.
Startup Junkie’s 2.7.0 Accelerator began in September and concludes on Friday, Nov.13, with a Demo Day. The Demo Day begins at 11:30 a.m. in the basement at Hayseed Ventures. Eleven companies will be pitching to the audience. The event is free and you can register for tickets here.
ComiCon-way will hold its fourth annual comic convention this Friday, Nov. 13, at 5 p.m. at the Faulkner County Library. The event takes place throughout the weekend and will move to the Conway Expo Center for Saturday and Sunday. The event features cosplay and a large number of vendors.
