Former congressional candidate opens new law firm, offices in Jonesboro and Little Rock
A former congressional candidate said Wednesday he will open a law firm in both Little Rock and Jonesboro.
Chad Causey, formerly a principal and general counsel with Noble Strategies, has founded the Causey Law Firm, P.A. The law firm will focus on the areas of state and federal regulatory law, general counsel services, litigation and business-related immigration issues. The Causey Firm will retain a strategic relationship with Noble Strategies. Causey will also continue in his role as Executive Director of the Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance.
“I am excited and blessed for this opportunity to start a practice focused on helping Arkansans with their legal needs,” Causey said in a statement. “While I’ll still be working closely with Noble Strategies, assisting them with state and federal regulatory issues, the Causey Law Firm will afford me the opportunity to represent clients facing legal challenges as well.”
The Causey Law Firm work will include state and federal regulatory law, agriculture policy, and trade issues. The law firm will also provide legal services to businesses that may not have the luxury of having an attorney on staff, including immigration issues, transactional issues and more.
A native of Jonesboro, Causey received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and earned his juris doctorate from Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. During his time in D.C., Causey served as chief of staff and appropriations associate to former U.S. Rep. Marion Berry, D-Ark. Upon returning to Arkansas, Causey won a contested race for the Democratic nomination in the 2010 Primary Election for the First Congressional District of Arkansas.
Causey is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the Pulaski County Bar Association. He serves on the Boards of The First Tee of Central Arkansas, the Little Rock Zoo Foundation, the Foundation for the Mid-South and the Arkansas Aviation Historical Society.
He is also a member of the Little Rock Air Force Base Community Council and serves in the Little Rock Air Force Base Honorary Commander Program. He is a member of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXX and was recognized by Arkansas Business as one of the “40 Under 40” in 2015. Chad is married to Meredith McNeil Causey, formerly from Newport. They have one daughter.
