Talk Business & Politics Roundtable: Big Stories Of The Week
On this week’s edition of Talk Business & Politics with Roby Brock, there were two roundtable segments – one for business, one for politics.
TB&P’s executive editor Michael Tilley and business editor Wesley Brown discussed their biggest business stories of the week. Tilley discussed the layoffs and management changes at Bentonville-based Wal-Mart. On Friday, another big round of reshuffling took shape.
Brown talked about the latest earnings reports rolling through Wall Street. For Arkansas-based companies, the first financial reports will be released this week. Will the records reflect a good quarter or bad quarter for public companies? Check out Brown’s and Tilley’s commentaries in the video below.
On the politics front, KATV’s Elicia Dover and TB&P’s Steve Brawner discuss The Stephen Group report released to the Health Reform Task Force this week. There was a lot from a preliminary report released weeks ago and a few new surprises. Plus, Arkansas Department of Human Services director John Selig announced his resignation a day later.
Dover and Brawner share their observations and opinions on the biggest political story of the week in the video below.
