Made By Few Kicks Off Techtober This Week
Made by Few will host its annual maker conference October 1-3 at the Ron Robinson Theater in downtown Little Rock. This year will mark the fourth year for the popular conference.
The event includes various makers including developers, designers, illustrators, and entrepreneurs.
The event was started in 2012 by Arlton Lowry, Abbi Siler, and Gabe Couch. Talk Business & Politics did a major profile on the Few gang earlier this year.
This year’s event will include eight speakers from some of the most respected development and design companies in the country.
Speakers this year include:
- Randy J. Hunt, Creative Directory, Etsy
- Tobias van Schneider, Art Director & Lead Product Designer, Spotify USA
- Aaron Draplin, Founder Draplin Design Co.
- Elana Schlenker, Publisher of Gratuitous Type
- Christian Rudder, Co-Founder, Okcupid
- Ash Huang, Independent Designer & Writer
- Kyle Durrie, Proprietor of Power and Light Press
- Jason Scott, Archivist at Internet Archive
The event will kickoff on Thursday night with a pre-event and will close with an after-party on Saturday night.
