Gospel Singing

The Northwest Arkansas Sacred Harp Singers will hold an old-time singing school Friday, October 23, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. Led by Robert Vaughn of Mount Pleasant, Texas, the singing school will focus on the fundamentals of "Sacred Harp" singing, a traditional style of a capella folk gospel singing that originated in the United States in the late 1700s.
