BAGGO & Brisket Benefit to Raise Funds for Kendrick Fincher Hydration Foundation Through BAGGO Tournament

Fayetteville, Ark.- The BAGGO & Brisket Benefit, hosted by WhyteSpyder, will hold a BAGGO tournament and brisket cookout at WhyteSpyder’s office located at 1023 E. Millsap Road, Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Kendrick Fincher Hydration Foundation (KFHF), a Rogers, Ark. nonprofit organization.

BAGGO® is the official brand name for a bean-bag toss game where two teams of two players toss eight bean bags per round into a hole 20 feet away. Players earn 3 points for bags landing in the hole and 1 point for landing on the board. The first team to reach 21 points wins.

“BAGGO is a very popular game with tailgaters and college students,” said Wylie McIntyre, BAGGO & Brisket Benefit event coordinator. “It’s also a fun way to get the community together for a good cause.”

The event raises funds for the KFHF from BAGGO board sponsorships, BAGGO tournament teams and in-kind donations from local businesses. Board sponsorship is $300 and the sponsor keeps their personalized board and earns a free team entry. A tournament team pays $50 for a 2-person team.

The first place winner of the BAGGO tournament wins $500 along with other prizes. In addition to the tournament, the event is providing free brisket to registered teams along with other food, drinks and chances to win prizes with a five-dollar donation. Attendance to the event is free for sponsors and tournament players.

“Our goal is to raise at least $5,000 for the Kendrick Fincher Hydration Foundation,” said McIntyre. “We are off to a good start, and are seeking more board sponsors and tournament players. The foundation is such a positive organization with wonderful people who provide important hydration education and support to our community.”
