Clinton House Museum to Throw Birthday Party for President Clinton
The Clinton House Museum will host a birthday party for President Bill Clinton’s upcoming 69th birthday this Saturday, August 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The former home of the Clintons will offer free admission all day on August 15, 2015, as well as President Clinton’s actual birthday, August 19, in honor of the celebration. Refreshments will include President Clinton’s favorite snacks: Moon Pies, peanuts, RC Cola, and of course- birthday cake. The public is encouraged to stop by and sign Bill’s birthday card and share favorite President Clinton stories.
Officially added to the National Register on January 22, 2010, the Clinton House was the home of many people and families that were influential in local, state, and national events.
The Clinton Drive property is the one time home of both former President William Jefferson Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. The Clintons were married in the living room of the house in October 1975. They lived in the home while Clinton reorganized from a failed political campaign for the U. S. House of Representatives and while he operated an ultimately successful campaign for Attorney General of Arkansas.
The Clinton House museum is located at 930 W. Clinton Dr. (formerly California Blvd.) in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
