Las Faygas Texas Hold ’em Tournament & Casino Night
The C.A.R.E Initiative, a local nonprofit organization composed of employees of Saatchi & Saatchi X, has spent the last twelve years working to ensure local nonprofit agencies have the support they need to continue to serve the children and families of Northwest Arkansas.
Their fourth annual Las Faygas Texas Hold’em tournament and casino night, which is open to the public, is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. on August 15, 2015, at The Chancellor Hotel in Fayetteville. Last year, the C.A.R.E. Initiative raised over $30,000 at the event, which helped the organization provide an $8,000 grant to the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, a $15,000 grant to the Children’s Safety Center, and a $15,000 grant to EOA Children’s House. The goal is to raise at least $34,000 this year.
Everyone is encouraged to register online prior to the event, but tickets will also be available at the door. Ticket prices are as follows:
- Tournament Entry & Casino Games – $75
- Tournament Entry – $50
- Casino Games – $40
- Non-Player Entry – $20
All ticket prices include heavy hors d’oeuvres. The evening will feature casino games, including blackjack, craps, and roulette, in addition to the poker tournament. Tournament prizes include a
