CJRW Sets Timetable For Move To Creative Corridor, Unveils New Logo
Little Rock-based advertising, marketing and PR powerhouse CJRW said it will open for business in its new headquarters on Main Street on July 13th and in the process, the agency says it wants to position itself as the “Gateway to the Creative Corridor.”
Downtown officials have dubbed Main Street the “Creative Corridor” as it is home or future home to a number of arts-related businesses such as the Arkansas Repertory Theater.
CJRW is moving from its previous location on Capitol Avenue to the old Fulk Building on Main Street. Throughout its 115-year life, tenants of the Fulk Building have included a dry goods store, the England National Bank, and most recently Bennett’s Military Supply. In 2014, Bennett’s relocated to 608 Main Street.
“We are extremely pleased to be among the first new tenants along the Creative Corridor,” said agency Chairman and CEO Wayne Woods. “It’s fitting that a creative shop like ours will be at the Gateway – essentially the front door – to the Creative Corridor.”
“We could not be more excited about CJRW moving to Main Street,” said Gabe Holmstrom, executive director of Little Rock’s Downtown Partnership. “While they have been downtown for many years, their move to Main Street validates the continued growth and resurgence we are seeing along the Creative Corridor,” Holmstrom said.
The Fulk Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. A plaque on the north side of the Fulk Building identifies the site as the location of the first meeting of the Little Rock City Council.
“This new location will offer clients the most comprehensive state-of-the-art technology available in our industry anywhere in Arkansas,” said Woods. “We planned not just for current client needs and expectations, but for the future as well. For some time now, we have been expanding our digital and interactive services in response to needs of existing clients and to serve new clients. This new facility gives clients the best in terms of digital and interactive services and positions us for continued expansion.”
CJRW also unveiled a new brand logo it will begin using in conjunction with its move. The new logo will be prominently displayed on CJRW’s new building.
“We wanted to adopt a bold, memorable and permanent name and logo identity that is simple, visually appealing, can be readily applied, and conveys that we are an employee owned and future oriented company,” said Woods. “The new name and logo identity do all of those things.”
In addition to its Little Rock office, CJRW has an office in Northwest Arkansas along the east side of I-49 North at the Johnson exit.
