Donald Trump Coming To Hot Springs July 17 For GOP Event
Donald Trump is coming to Arkansas.
The billionaire real estate mogul, reality television star, and, as of last Tuesday, presidential candidate will speak at the Republican Party of Arkansas’ Reagan-Rockefeller Dinner in Hot Springs July 17. The event is the party’s biggest annual fundraiser.
In a press release, Arkansas GOP Chairman Doyle Webb said, “It’s always an exciting night, but this year will definitely be interesting with such a dynamic speaker.” He added, “Mr. Trump brings a very unique dimension to next year’s democratic process as a private entrepreneur and business leader.”
Ticket sales have begun through the party’s website, www.arkansasgop.org, or by calling the party at 501.372.7301.
Webb noted that Trump will be the second announced presidential candidate to visit the state this year after former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee earlier announced his candidacy in Hope. The day after Trump’s speech, Hillary Clinton will speak at the Democratic Party of Arkansas’ annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on July 18 at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock.
