The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville was ranked No. 8 among the best 50 colleges and universities across the U.S. for an online undergraduate degree, according to an independent survey release today (April 14) by ValueColleges.com.
Value Colleges said the “50 Best Value Online Colleges” ranking is a comprehensive guide to online colleges and universities that give students the best return on their investment based on affordability and excellence, return on investment and low debt. Information was compiled from Payscale.com, U.S. News & World Report, IPEDS and the schools’ own websites, said Value Colleges’ editor Carrie Sealey-Morris.
“These fifty schools each offer an excellent education at a great value for students hoping to improve their education and status with a convenient, flexible online degree program,” Value Colleges said in a news release.
In its top 50 ranking, Value Colleges lists the University of Arkansas between F. Hays State University in Kansas at No. 7 and Pace University, a private research college in New York City known for its business school and Actor’s Studio with James Lipton, in the No. 9 spot.
Here’s what the list said about the University of Arkansas:
