Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 2, for the 22nd annual Washington Regional Medical Foundation Gala set for May 7 at Walton Arts Center. The Gala performer will be multi-platinum-selling entertainer Michael Feinstein presenting his celebrated 100th anniversary salute to legend Frank Sinatra. An accomplished vocalist and pianist, Feinstein is the two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated entertainer dubbed “The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook.” His 200-plus shows a year have included performances at Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl as well as the White House and Buckingham Palace. Feinstein has long paid homage to Sinatra’s legacy. His fifth Grammy Award nomination was in 2009 for The Sinatra Project and his 2011 TV special, Michael Feinstein – The Sinatra Legacy, was nominated for an Emmy Award.
Proceeds from the 2015 Gala will benefit the expansion of Women’s and Infants’ Services at Washington Regional Medical Center, including an extensive construction and renovation project to meet the needs of our growing community.
