Dogs Used by Ancient and Modern Man
Dunlap to Speak at Hobbs State Park on Dogs Used by Ancient and Modern Man
Dogs have been a valuable and important partner to people throughout history. This relative of the wolf has developed a unique and special symbiotic inter-species relationship with man. Dogs know when we are sad, and use eye contact to figure out what we are thinking.
Steve Dunlap, Northwest Region Education Coordinator for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, will speak at Hobbs State Park on the roles dogs have had as simple service animals, hunting companions, and best friends. Dunlap added, “I will be bringing my own mutt along to demonstrate simple training techniques you can use. Dog lovers and those needing or wanting clues on the best ways to teach your dog should find this program interesting.”
