Lt. Gov. Griffin To Advise For Purple Strategies
Lt. Gov. and former Congressman Tim Griffin has joined Purple Strategies as senior advisor for communications and growth strategies.
Purple Strategies is a strategic communications firm founded in 2008 with offices in Washington, D.C., Chicago and Boston.
“Purple Strategies has quickly risen to be one of Washington’s premier firms with a world-class reputation for creativity and client services, and I am excited about the opportunity to work with this team known for unmatched innovation, excellence and energy. I look forward to using my background and experience to help companies solve complex problems, grow and compete,” said Griffin.
Purple Strategies Chairman Alex Castellanos, a regular commentator on CNN, said, “It is a privilege to have Tim join the Purple team. His broad experience, strategic thinking and insights, and remarkable record of accomplishment will be an asset to our clients as they work to prosper and create American jobs.”
“Our clients look to us to provide creative strategies that move and shape public opinion. Tim’s wide range of experience from solving complex issues in the senior ranks of Congress to serving in the U.S. Army Reserve and directing political affairs for President Bush will undoubtedly prove to be an asset for our team,” said Steve McMahon, president and CEO of Purple Strategies. “No other firm in Washington can give clients a wider range of political intelligence and experience. Tim adds to an already deep bench of talent, and we are glad he chose to join Purple.”
Griffin was elected Lt. Governor of Arkansas on November 4, 2014 and took office on January 13, 2015. The office’s part-time nature has always allowed its resident to work in a full-time job.
