Wal-Mart’s Mexican CEO To Retire In 2015
Scot Rank, President and CEO of Wal-Mart’s Mexican operations, Walmex, will retire from his current position at the beginning of 2015.
He will assume, upon his retirement, the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Walmex.
Rank has served as CEO for the last five year and was previously Chief Operating Officer for the prior five years.
Rank’s replacement was not announced, but the company did say it would expand the functions of the board chairman’s role.
Enrique Ostalé, President and CEO for Walmart Latin America and current Chairman of the Board of Walmex, will now also serve as Executive Chairman of the Board of Walmex.
