Ozark Folkways Fiber Arts Festival October 11th, 2014

Saturday October 11th from 10 am-4 pm – Ozark Folkways will present, the best of the best, of local Fiber Arts at our annual Fiber Arts Show and Festival.
“This is an amazing show, highlighting the creative energy of the region in both traditional arts and craft, as well as wildly creative “out of the box” fiber arts!” -Rebecca Buchanan, Executive Director.
There will be demonstrations of spinning, rug-hooking, basket-making, quilting, and other forms of natural fiber art.
Guests may also enjoy some fine Ozark Cooking featuring local brisket, beans, sizzling skillet cornbread, homemade desserts, and drinks.
Fiber Arts Festival is free and open to the public.
Ozark Folkways is a 501-C-3 organization dedicated to preserving Ozark native arts and music of the Ozarks. Ozark Folkways not only operates a gallery featuring local artists, we host a variety of classes for children and adults ranging from stone masonry and basket weaving to a fiddle camp and children’s art camp.
