Talk Business & Politics Expanding E-mail, Social Media Delivery
From Talk Business & Politics Editor-in-Chief Roby Brock:
We value the input we get from our readers and are always happy to adapt our business model to meet your needs.
With that in mind, I’m happy to report an expanded service that will provide you with much more daily content through a variety of platforms.
Beginning this week, Talk Business & Politics will expand our free e-mail delivery to 7 days a week. The amount of news content we are producing justifies this expansion and our readers and advertisers have asked for it.
You’ve no doubt seen the uptick in news produced from our state, Northwest and Northeast Arkansas bureaus and partnership expansions. We’ve been adding writers and contributors to provide you more in-depth business and political news coverage that helps our readers, viewers and listeners make smart decisions.
It is hard to constantly monitor every story that comes through a social media feed – Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn – and sometimes the days get busy and you miss a story you wished you hadn’t.
Our expanded e-mail delivery will not only round up our big story of the day as well as business and political news, but we’ll be adding new features too. You may have noticed our “Notable & Quotable” addition that highlights interesting quotes from newsmakers. Here’s the new daily line-up:
MORNING BRIEFING – Mondays through Fridays, you’ll receive our “Morning Briefing,” which recaps the last 24 hours in business and politics. We’ll also feature important news that affects business and politics in the areas of education, finance, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and energy & manufacturing.
THE WEEKEND DIGEST – “The Weekend Digest” is designed for leisurely weekend reading. The report arrives in your inbox on Saturdays. In it you’ll find a variety of business and political stories from world-renowned media outlets, plus obscure stories simply meant to pique your interest.
SUNDAY WEEKLY PLANNER – “The Weekly Planner” will give you a glimpse at upcoming economic, business and political reports and meetings that are scheduled in the coming week. You’ll also get a preview of our TV show guests for Sunday morning. And we’ll round-up a week’s worth of opinions from our bloggers and content partners across the state.
If you’re receiving our newsletter now, you won’t have to make any changes to receive the additional free content. Plus, we’ll continue pushing our newsletters through all of our social media channels in order to expand our reach to you where you want it.
We do not resell or allow access to our email or mailing lists for any purposes other than Talk Business & Politics. If you’re not already signed up to receive our free products, click here to do so.
And yes, we do have very limited space for new advertisers in our expanded email products. Drop a line to [email protected] for more information.
As always, we appreciate your readership and feedback. Please share our news with friends and work colleagues and let me know what you think of our improvements at [email protected].
Have a great week!
