NUBA MOUNTAINS FUNDRAISER

The Omni Center for Peace, Justice, and Ecology will host a Nuba Mountains fundraiser on Saturday, September 6, 7:00 pm, at the Omni Center, 3274 N. Lee Ave., Fayetteville, phone 935-4422.  
Sam Totten will tell about his trips to the Nuba Mountains to bring supplies to the people there being attacked by their own government, the Sudan.
At the fundraiser for people of the Nuba Mountains in Sudan, local portrait artist, Amy Edie, will be creating portraits–an 11×14 keepsake drawing for an additional $25 donation — as part of the fundraising.  She will be available in OMNI's Library from 6 until 7p.m. for a maximum of 10 portraits.  Register early for your portrait by calling OMNI at 935-4422.
