Trike Theatre begins their Youth Theatre series with, Bear State of Mind
BENTONVILLE, AR  – Walton Arts Center and Trike Theatre are proud to present, BEAR STATE OF MIND in Starr Theater at Walton Arts Center. In this original interactive play set at a camp site, we experience the story of a lost bear cub who journeys across Arkansas’ geographic regions to find his family. Along the way he meets new friends and uncovers native wildlife and folklore. Travel with him as he discovers the unique beauty of his awesome state.
Trike Theatre’s Executive Artistic Director, Kassie Misiewicz shares, “We are creating an immersive camping and storytelling experience for family audiences. This play is as much an adventure as a performance as the audience travels to a wooded campground, created in a blackbox theater, and helps to tell an adventure story of finding the dreaded Gowrow, the legendary monster of Arkansas.”
In addition to the play, Trike Theatre is creating an interactive experience in the lobby. An hour before and after each show, local community groups will engage audiences through hands-on learning opportunities centered around camping, our parks, creating music and enjoying the great outdoors.
But that’s not all… Trike Theatre Academy offers an array of classes for ages 4 years through high school aged students. Details can be found on our website: www.triketheatre.org
Bear State of Mind performances are Friday, September 19th at 6:30pm and Saturday, September 20th at 2:00pm & 4:30pm.
